And others heading up to the iconic #ninestandards, which you can see from our breakfast room!![]()

We are way ahead of ourselves, washing already on the line so having a nice cup of tea and toast!!![]()

After the thrill of The London Marathon we are now extremely busy at the #B&B!! ![]()
Despite the many April showers in May mixed with sunshine lately, the garden has suddenly burst into colour! 🌸🌿 The flowers are looking absolutely amazing, and all the old walking boots are full and blooming beautifully too. It’s lovely to see the garden come to life again — it’s looking great at the moment! ☀️🌷![]()

We’re also enjoying welcoming walkers arriving from all directions along the Coast to Coast, the Lady Anne’s Way, the Settle to Carlisle Walk and the Dales Way, to name just a few. We’re loving hearing everyone’s stories and being part of their walking adventures! 🥾😊![]()

What a day yesterday completing the London Marathon 2026💗![]()

Such a huge build up to get to that start line… overcoming foot surgery, injuries, doubts, fundraising and everything in between. To finally be there felt emotional, exciting and a little bit nerve-wracking—especially with the unexpected heat!![]()

Running for Breast Cancer Now made every single step matter even more. The generosity, love and support from family, friends, and our incredible guests has been overwhelming—thank you just doesn’t feel enough 💕![]()

The crowds were unreal ALL the way round… the energy carried us when it got tough. And spotting familiar faces I wasn’t expecting—Kevin, Ellie, George, Anne, Rosie and Bob—was such a boost! And of course our absolute #topsupporters Joe and Rachel’s Dan 🙌![]()
